CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023: Ministry of Home Affairs released a press release on 05th April 2023 announcing approximately 1.3 lakh Constable (General Duty) vacancies to be recruited in General Duty Cadre in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The Level 3 Constable posts will be filled in Central Reserve Police Force through direct recruitment. As per the press release issued, there will be a total of 129929 posts will be recruited out of which 125262 posts are for male candidates and 4467 are for female candidates. 

CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023: Candidates must have passed their matriculation or equivalent degree from a board or university recognized by the Central Government or State Government or equivalent army qualification in case of Ex-Army personnel. The candidate should be between 18 to 23 years of age to apply for CRPF Constable Recruitment 2023.

Age Limit: The age limit for this recruitment is 18 to 23 years . Or Relaxation for SC/ST 5 years, OBC/MOBC 3 years, PWD & Ex-servicemen 10 years. 

Pay Scale: Rs.21700-69100/- (Level-3)

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Overview Details:

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is the largest Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) of India. It was established in 1939 as the Crown Representative's Police and was renamed as CRPF in 1949. The primary role of CRPF is to assist state and Union Territories in maintaining law and order, counter-insurgency, and counter-terrorism operations.

CRPF personnel are also deployed for election duties, disaster management, VIP security, and other specialized duties. The force has a strength of over 300,000 personnel and is headed by a Director-General.

CRPF has a wide range of specialized units, including Rapid Action Force (RAF), Special Duty Group (SDG), Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA), and Jungle Warfare and Counter-Terrorism (JWCT) training school. The force is equipped with modern weapons and technology to carry out its operations efficiently.

Over the years, CRPF has played a crucial role in maintaining internal security in India and has been involved in various operations, including Operation Blue Star, Operation Rakshak, and Operation Vijay. The force has also been involved in UN peacekeeping missions in various countries.
