Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services Society (ARIAS)-
The Assam Rural Infrastructure and Agricultural Services Society (ARIAS) is an autonomous body established by the Government of Assam in India in November 1998, with the assistance of the World Bank. The society is responsible for implementing the World Bank-funded Assam Agricultural Competitiveness Project (AACP) and Assam Agribusiness and Rural Transformation Project (APART) in the state.
The main objectives of ARIAS are to improve agricultural productivity and marketing of agricultural products, promote rural infrastructure development, and enhance the income of farmers in Assam.
