Staff Selection Commission, SSC has released the SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 notification on 09/05/2023. Notification is out to fill 1600 Vacancies on a regular basis. Detailed Vacancies will be uploaded soon. So Interested and eligible candidates can go through the eligibility criteria and apply online from 09th May 2023 to 08th June 2023. SSC CHSL Notification 2023 has been released by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2023 on 09th May 2023 for 1600 vacancies at its official website www.ssc.nic.in. This is a golden chance for candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination and looking forward to stable job opportunities. The online registration for SSC CHSL 2023 Exam has been started with the release of the SSC CHSL Notification 2023 from 09th May 2023 onwards and is going to be active till 08th June 2023. Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2023): 

# For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent. 

# LDC/ JSA and DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’: Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. 

Note:- The candidates who have appeared in their 12th Standard or equivalent examination can also apply. 

Pay Scale SSC CHSL:

# Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).
# Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300).
# Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Age Limit: 18-27 years as on 01-08-2023 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1996 and not later than 01-08-2005 are eligible to apply.. 
 
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
 
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC: 3 years
# PWD: 10 years
# PWD (OBC): 13 years
# PWD (SC/ ST): 15 years
# ESM: 3 years

SSC CHSL Application Fee:

# SC/ ST PWD/ ESM/ Women: Nil
# UR/ OBC: Rs 100/-
# Payment mode: BHIM  UPI,  Net  Banking  or by  using  Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

How to Apply SSC CHSL Recruitment 2023 For 1600 Posts?

Interested & eligible Candidates are required to apply online for SSC CHSL 2023 at official website https://ssc.nic.in/. Below are the steps that one needs to follow for successful online registration for the exam:

Step 1: Click on the official link which is provided on this page.

Step 2: Click on the link of Apply Link given on the page. The registration link will open up in the new window.

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CHSL 2023 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4: Firstly, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, etc.

Step 5: Click on the submit button to submit your completed online form for SSC CHSL 2023. Verify your details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC CHSL 2023 exam. Candidates are supposed to log in with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for SSC CHSL 2023.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates must upload a photograph and signature.

Step 7: Log in with your registered ID and password to fill up the Part II of the online form of SSC CHSL 2023.

Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the entire application form of SSC CHSL 2023 .

Step 9: Click on the Final Submit button after previewing the entire online SSC CHSL application form. It is recommended that Candidates download and get print copies of the submitted application form for SSC CHSL 2023 .

SSC CHSL 2023 Selection Process:

Tier-I Examination:

  • The Tier-I Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set in English and Hindi for Part-II, III & IV.
  • There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.


Tier-II Examination:

  • Tier-II will be conducted in two sessions – Session –I & Session-II, on the same day.
  • Session-I will include conducting Section-I, Section-II and Module-I of Section-III. Session-II will include conducting Module-II of Section-III.
  • It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify all the sections of Tier-II.
  • Tier II will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions, except for Module-II of Section-III.
  • The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module-II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section-II.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III.
  • Module-I of Section-III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.
