APSC CCE Recruitment 2023 CCE Main Exam:

Assam Public Service Commission has recently declared the result of Combined Competitive Examination (Preliminary), 2022 ( APSC CCE 2022) for the recruitment of 913 vacancy. Candidates who have been qualified in prelims examination now must appear in the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2022 . 
 
The Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination will be held June 2023 .

Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
 
Regional Language Proficiency: A candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official language or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.

Residentship:
 A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: A candidate should be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.

Small Family Norms: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A at the time of applying for the C.C. (Prelim) Examination.

 
Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2022. 

Age Relaxation: 
The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
 
# SC/ST: 5 years
# OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
# PwBD: 10 years
 
Educational Qualification:
 
# The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.
# Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications

# Under the Digital India initiative by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its Online Recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40.00/- + 18% tax = Rs.47.20/- from each candidate.

# Enter all your personal and educational details as required .

# Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for recruitment to various civil service positions in the state of Assam. The CCE consists of three stages - Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview.

The Main Examination of APSC CCE consists of 6 papers, which are as follows:

  1. Paper-I: General English - 300 Marks
  2. Paper-II: General Studies-I - 250 Marks
  3. Paper-III: General Studies-II - 250 Marks
  4. Paper-IV: Optional Subject Paper-I - 250 Marks
  5. Paper-V: Optional Subject Paper-II - 250 Marks
  6. Paper-VI: Optional Subject Paper-III - 250 Marks

The Optional Subject Papers can be chosen by the candidate from a list of subjects provided by APSC. The list includes subjects such as Agriculture, Anthropology, Chemistry, Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, and many others.

The Main Examination is conducted in a descriptive mode and candidates are required to write essays, answers, and analysis on various topics related to the subjects. The marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview are considered for the final selection of candidates.

Candidates who qualify for the Preliminary Examination are eligible to appear for the Main Examination. They can visit the official website of APSC for more information on the exam pattern, syllabus, and other relevant details.
