UPSC EPFO Recruitment 2023 for 577 Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer & Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Posts

UPSC EPFO Notification 2023: Union Public Service Commission has released the notification for 577 vacancy posts of Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner recruitment in the Employee’s Provident Fund Organization (EPFO), Ministry of Labor and Employment. According to UPSC EPFO Notification 2023, aspirants can apply online for UPSC EPFO Enforcement Officer and APFC from 25 February 2023 till 17 March 2023. A total of 577 EPFO Vacancies are up to be filled in UPSC EPFO Recruitment Drive 2023.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a employment job notification for the recruitment of 577 Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer and Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner vacancy to be posted under Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment. 

UPSC EPFO Recruitment Notification 2023 Details: 

1. Enforcement Officer/ Accounts Officer

No of posts: 
418 posts [SC-57, ST-28, OBC-78, EWS-51 & UR-204]

Age Limit: 
30 years.

Educational Qualification: 
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from recognized university or institute.

Pay Scale: 
Level-08 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.

2. Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner

No of posts: 
159 posts [SC-25, ST-12, OBC-38, EWS-16, UR-68]

Age Limit: 
35 years.

Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University or Equivalent.

Desirable: 
Diploma in Company Law/Labour Laws/Public Administration.

Pay Scale: 
Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC - Rs 43,600 to 55,200/- 

Application Fee: ₹25/- to be paid cash/online at SBI or or by using visa/master credit/debit card.  No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.

Exam Centre's of Assam: Dispur (Guwahati) & Jorhat.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

Grounded on the UPSC Reclamation 2023 announcement issued, the Union Public Service Commission shall carry out the Reclamation Test Selection and Other Criteria with reference to the UPSC Reclamation 2023 announcement and are also explained hereunder 
 
In the event of the Applications entered fairly in a large number from aspirants, the Union Public Service Commission will borrow the Shortlisting Criteria to circumscribe the number to only Eligible campaigners to be called in for the Interview to a Reasonable Number by Any or further of the Methodologies as mentioned hereunder 
 
a) “Grounded on the Desirable Qualification( DQ) or any one or all of the Desirable Qualifications( DQs) if further than one Desirable Qualification is specified ”. 
 
b) On the base of Advanced Educational Qualifications than the Minimum specified in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 announcement. 
 
c) Grounded on Advanced Experience in the applicable field than the Minimum specified in the Ministry of Mines Recruitment 2023 announcement. 
 
d) By reckoning the previous Professional Work- Experience before orPost-acquiring Essential Qualifications of the seeker aspirants. 
 
e) By invoking the previous Work Experience indeed in cases where there's No Experience mentioned Either as Essential Qualification( EQ) Or as Desirable Qualification( DQ). 
 
f) By holding a Reclamation Test( RT). 
 
Note- II Important Points:
 
Viva- voce/ Personality Test carries Total 100 Marks explained hereunder 
 
i) The Category-wise minimal position of felicity in the Interviews (100 Marks), irrespective of whether the Selection is conducted only through Interview or by holding a Reclamation Test( RT) to be followed by the Interview, shall remain as hereunder 
 
a) Un-Reserved minimal Qualifying 50 Marks to be secured out of Aggregate 100 Marks 
 
b) Economically Weaker Sections 50 Marks 
 
c) Other Backward Community 45 Marks 

d) slated estate/ slated estate/ Persons with Benchmark Disability/ ies( PwBD/ s) 40 Marks. 
 
ii) In cases where Selection is carried through by Reclamation Test( RT) followed by the particular Interview, the seeker will have to attain the Minimum Level of Suitability in their separate orders in the course of the Interview Stage. 

I. Scheme and syllabus of the Recruitment Test (RT) for the post Enforcement Officers/Accounts Officers (Item No. 1 above) : 

(a) Scheme: 

(i) The test will be of two hours duration 
(ii) All questions will carry equal marks. (iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer. 
(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English. 
(v) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question, there will be no penalty for that question. 

(b) Syllabus : 

The syllabus of the Test broadly comprises the following topics :- 

i) General English- To evaluate candidate’s understanding of English language & workman – like use of words. 
ii) Indian Freedom Struggle. 
iii) Current Events and Developmental Issues. 
iv) Indian Polity & Economy. 
v) General Accounting Principles. 
vi) Industrial Relations & Labour Laws. 
vii) General Science & knowledge of Computer applications. 
viii) General Mental Ability & Quantitative Aptitude. 
ix) Social Security in India

II. Scheme and syllabus of the Recruitment Test (RT) for the post Assistant Public Provident Commissioner (Item No. 2 above) 

(a) Scheme: 

(i) The test will be of two hours duration 
(ii) All questions will carry equal marks. 
(iii) The test will be objective type questions with multiple choices of answer. 
(iv) The medium of the test will be both Hindi and English.

(h) Elementary Mathematics, Statistics and General Mental Ability. 
(i) Social Security in India.
