Superintendent of Police, Barpeta Recruitment 2022 - 12 Data Entry Operator (DEO) Vacancy Job

In pursuance to the Govt. Letter No HMA.199/2019/Pt/70 Dated 14.11.2022. APHQ Letter No. S-VI/Misc/ CCTNS/2020- 21/220 Dated 16.11.2022 and CID, Assam Letter No-E/VII/ 172-21/CID/3118 Dated Guwahati, the 23rd Nov, 2022 applications are invited from the interested eligible candidates from the jurisdiction of Barpeta District in Standard Form of Application published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX for the post of “Data Entry Operator (DEO)” under CCTNS/ICJS Project of Assam Police


Age Limit : Age limit should not be less than 18 (eighteen) years and not exceeding 40(forty) years as on 01.01.2022. 

Terms and Conditions 

1. The candidate should submit his/her BIO-DATA in standard Form Application published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX along with self-attested photocopies of original certificates/documents relating to qualification, experience, age, identity proof with 2(two) copies of latest coloured photographs (passport size). 
2) One copy of Address Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Driving License etc.) shall also be enclosed along with the application form.
 
3) Offline applications will be received with effect from 2nd December, 2022. Last date for receipt of applications will be 16th December, 2022 at Office of the Superintendent of Police, Barpeta. 

4) There will be NO application fee. 

5) The candidates for the above mentioned post will be selected on the basis of written test which may be online or offline containing multiple choice questions (MCQ). The questions for the test shall be on basic Computer Skills/Aptitude and General Knowledge (GK) for total 60 Marks and minimum qualifying percentage is 50%. 

6) On qualifying the written examination, candidate shall attend one typing skill test (30 marks) followed by personal interview/viva-voce (10 marks). 

7) The recruitment will be purely on contractual basis with no provision of regularization. 

8) The selected candidates will be initially engaged for a period of 1 (one) year. The performance appraisal of the DEO will be reviewed time to time. The decision of CID. Assam shall be final and binding on the candidates. 

9) Preference will be given to local candidates. 

10) Candidates already in service in any other department shall have to apply through proper channel and No Objection Certificate (NOC) to this effect shall have to be enclosed along with the application form. 

11) Selection will be made on purely merit basis. Final selection merit list will be based on the mark secured in Objective Test (written test) + Typing Skill Test and Interview. 

12) Canvassing in any form shall be treated as disqualification. Candidates submitting duplicate / counterfeit documents (s) would not be considered for selection and a criminal case shall be registered against such candidate(s). 

13) If any candidate leaves his/her job before one year he/she will not be entitled for experience certificate. 

14) 20% additional candidates will be selected as stand by. No payment will be made to the reserve candidates till they arc appointed. 

15) No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview
