TCS Youth Employment Program 2022
Youth Employment Program (YEP) stems from the Tata Affirmative Action Program (TAAP) under the Corporate Social Responsibility umbrella of TCS and has been driven since 2010 addressing the challenge of unemployment amongst the socially and economically marginalized group in India. This program aims towards providing right opportunities and learning skills to under-privileged families, so that they can showcase their potential, join the mainstream economy, and shall have a dignified life.
The Youth Employment Program is poised for major scale up from present 16,000 per annum coverage to over a million per year. By leveraging digital capabilities of TCS, it would benefit 10 million by 2030. You too can join us in this great journey. There is a space for everyone to contribute, and to build on the belief of your own and the life of others.
Applications are hereby invited to participate in the TATA Consultancy Services Youth Employment Program (under TCS-CSR) for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 passing non-engineering graduate of all NE states.
TCS Youth Employment Program Details

Commencement of classes: First week of September 2022
Training Duration and Mode:
Online: 45-50 working days, 2 hours/day, Mon – Sat.
Offline: 15- 20 working days, 5-6 hours/day Mon – Sat.

Educational Qualification: Any non-engineering graduate fresher from arts, commerce, or science backgrounds (BSC, BCom, BA, BBA, BCA)
Age Limit: Should not exceed 28 years of age.
Mode of Education: Regular. Distance Education is not allowed.
Year of Passing: 2021, 2022, 2023
Caste Preference: Candidate belongs to ST/SC/Tea Tribe/EWS will be given preference .
Other Criteria:
# Those pursuing/completed masters in full time mode are Not Eligible .
# Those pursuing/completed masters in distance mode are Not Eligible .
# Availability of Smartphone/Tablet/Laptop/Desktop with proper internet connectivity for digital training .
The training will be of about 100+ hours, covering standard modules prepared by TCS on Business Communication Skills, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Computers, Interview Skills, Resume building to name a few.
This would be followed by trainings on specific domains. Additionally, trainees will also be guided to take up Free Self-Learning Courses and industry recognized certifications
Post Training Certification & Other Benefits
Trainees will receive a digital certificate of participation and completion from TCS which will stand as a testimony and accreditation of their employability prospects in the corporate world.
The program aims at providing free employability training for the SC/ST, women, persons with disability and other economically weaker candidates. Nearly 30,000+ have gained meaningful employment which includes job in TCS also. The training has led to lifting out over 2,500 families out of poverty annually. Families of the beneficiaries get access to better health care, support for sibling’s education, better housing, overall, better standard of living.
